Welcome to the Chaldean Hockey League.   The Chaldean Hockey League celebrated its inaugural season back in 2006.  The first year of the league consisted of five teams comprised of 77 players.  The last  four seasons have seen the league grow to as a many as 8 teams, to the current roster of players making up 7 teams.   If a mission statement was written for the CHL it would go something like this...."A great way for friends and family to enjoy the sport that so many of us love."  As with many team sports, competitive spirit and the drive to be the best can cause friction from time to time.  But that may be what draws so many to play the best game ever invented.  Hockey is a sport that combines the the ability of a player to skate as football player runs, with toughness of Rugby player.  Each person that laces up the skates in CHL knows that at the end of every week, and no matter what challenges we face during that week, that we have Sunday night to forget it all.  One night to play the greatest game on earth.
